Bouldering Mats are important to have something soft to break your fall in the case of an accident or should you need to jump off the rocks or wall from a low height of around 4m for any reason. Beemat have designed it to cushion your impact as you return to the ground and also to keep your equipment and shoes or feet clean for your next ascent. Whether the issue is a slippery wall or rock face, or boots that need a thorough clean to provide extra grip, the bouldering mats are used for climbing enthusiasts young and old, experienced to novice. In bouldering, climbers scale as many fixed routes on a 4m high wall as they can within four minutes. The routes vary in difficulty and climbers are not permitted to practice climbing them in advance. When a climber grabs the final hold at the top of a route with both hands, they are deemed to have completed it. Climbers tackle the wall without safety ropes and can try a route again if they fall during their initial attempt.. Bouldering is also known as maximal strength per body weight discipline, bouldering consists of eight climbing moves on average and has a maximum height of no more than 4 metres, which makes it possible to climb without the use of ropes. Falls are absorbed by so-called crash mats or now known as boulder mats. A new safety standard has been created by the UIAA Safety Commission dedicated to the safety requirements and test methods for crash pads for use in bouldering climbing.
