Only flaw is the dial tip is too dark against the black background. Other than that they are still good value. Newitts give a very good service

Great kit but one flaw in my opinion

Superb service from Newitts as ever and a great price. My issue is the scales which are great quality but somebody decided to put a very thin dull red indicator arm on a jet black backround. That and glare off the viewing glass from lights in the room makes it very hard to see the indicator arm. Over 50 and my eyes are not as sharp as they once were also. Considering trying to open the veiwing glass and put some white paint or Tipex on the final couple of centimetres of the arm to make reading easier. Not a deal breaker but suprised it was not picked up in the design proces.

The best choice.

After owning a number of weighing scales over the years, I decided that I needed a purely mechanical machine that could be easily calibrated and easily read. I eventually decided upon the SECA Colorata 760 scales. They are not small, but they are convenient in that you can actually stand comfortably on the machine and simply read the results from the large display dial. Very accurate.Very pleased I purchased this well made product.

100% Accurate!

I’ve wanted these scales for ages and finally took the plunge. I went to the doctor recently and when I was there asked them to weigh me. I was delighted that they said exactly what my Seca scales said especially as my last ones needed adjusting every time you stood on them . So I’m really pleased with these scales and would recommend them. Worth the money.
