Recommended way of measuring the length:

Using a Floorball stick; place the stick in front of the body in a straight line to the floor. The stick should reach from the navel up to one fist height above the navel.
Using a tape measure; measure (in cm) from the floor to somewhere between "your navel" and "one fist height above your navel". Then subtract 15 cm from the value. This is because the length referred to is the shaft only and doesn't include the blade.
