Better than Mitre

We were using Mitre balls and they were ok but tended to wear out fairly quickly. The Molten is better so far but one of the two balls is definitely not perfectly round. When you buy them pump them up until really hard and leave them for at least 2 or 3 weeks for them to find their shape. I managed to do this with one of them and that seems to be ok. Overall the players find the ball heavier than the mitre ones and smaller. Had I known the difference I would have bought size 5 instead. It's early days but I think it was a good purchase.

Molten indoor football size 4

This is an excellent product. When correctly inflated runs true and not too bouncy. This ball lasts way longer than a similar mitre ball retaining the suede coating. It is a more expensive product but we have used this ball for indoor 5-a-side for more than a year after trying all the other manufacturers and we still prefer this ball

New balls please !!

I've been playing indoor football 3 times a week for about 15 years. We usually buy mitre ultimate size 4. However the balls don't usually last too long before needing to be replaced. I decided to try the more expensive balls namely Bolton Indoor Football, size 4. I personally liked them immediately when we started playing with them. They feel heavier to kick than the Mitre, which means they roll truer and travel straighter. You can control them better and don't need constantly inflating. They're a couple of quid more expensive to buy, but their durability means they'll probably be cheaper in the long run. The Mitre Ultimate are great when brand new but that doesn't last long before they get a bit lumpy. The Molten for me and all my team mates is truer, more durable, and better value. Only ball that I’ll buy now for 5 a side . Well made - fabric long lasting . Keeps shape after hitting angles (there are recessed doors in our sports hall). Highly recommend good for keepers and decent footballers .
