Fantastic

I bought the yellow ones (smallest size) for my 4 yr old (size 8 shoe) and she loves them - they fit perfectly but have room to grow, and they are helping to improve her kicking. I bought the orange pair for my 6 yr old (size 10) and she loves them too. Very reasonable, good quality, look good and work well

JPL Swim Fins

I consider fit to be the primary criterion when selecting swim fins. Compared with older made-in-Malaysia fins I have tried, these JPL fins have taller-walled heels, providing additional comfort and security in use. The foot pockets are also much more robust, made as they are from thicker rubber. However, what makes these well-fitting fins at the heel provides a less satisfactory result at the toes. The strong top seam of the toe opening, which is strong enough to withstand flexing in use (a spot where some older fins tended to split), is not high enough to avoid rubbing against the toes. The foot pocket is simply not long enough to accommodate the whole foot. As for the JPL fin's blade, I found it to be a little more flexible than, say, the comparable Finis fin. As well as using the fin in workouts, I found it to be useful in snorkelling. I would have welcomed a larger-size fin, perhaps covering the European 46-47 range, as the fitting was a little snug. This said, a satisfactory fin for workout and snorkelling use, but there is room for improvement.
