First thing was the competitive price, compared to other online retailers, an absolute bargain. Thigh pad arrived within 4 days, in excellent packaging. The pad is an upgrade on my son’s previous pad, it’s fits far better than the previous one, and stays in place throughout his innings. Proved it’s worth when he took a short ball to hip with no bruising or lasting injury. Excellent pad for protection and worth every penny.

Quaility is good but poor design

I bought this from Newitts. It was delivered in time. The packaging was good and the product comes with nice box. The quality of materials used is good. What I didn't like is the way it is designed. It is a bit smaller on your front thigh. The plastic bit is too curved and won't fit properly on the thigh. The inner guard fits OK. The straps on thighs are good but main strap around the waist is so loose and velcro doesn't have much adjustment. When batting it doesn't stay in place.

A welcome upgrade

Anything would have been an improvement over the ancient pads I was using but these are lightweight, comfortable and offer really good protection the hip flap at the top of the thigh pad is a welcome addition as well. The more you wear them the better they fit !

Decent bit of kit

The all in one thigh pad is simple, comfortable and effective. Being new to cricket I miss more balls than I actually hit and without this pad I’d have a lot more bruises than I do. It’s easy to fit and works well with Gray-Nicholls leg pads and groin guard. All of which have stopped me suffering!
