Additional Information

Due to sand being heavier than water we recommend you fill the base of your sparring bob with sand to avoid any movement of the unit when in use.

Please look out for cheap copies of the BOB and BOB XL - They are manufactured with a vastly inferior material and low quality foam. They can be spotted easily as they will often not have a height adjustable base. Remember if it does not carry the Century logo then it is not an official BOB!

Not as soft as I thougt

From Newitts to Stuttgart Germany in only 3 days. Seems to be a great training-tool. Happily the face is not as soft as I thougt. I like to punch it, feels good. The dummy could stand a little stronger, with every hit, it wobbles around.

A bit expensive for what it is but cheapest I could find online. Excellent product. Only issue is that screws need to be tightened after every workout as they can work loose but otherwise it's a great way to burn calories and dish out a good beating when you've had a bad day lol. Great fun

This is a really great product, it's perfect for practising accuracy, speed and combo's, not as good as a heavy bag for practising power punches although when filled with sand it would stand up to most punches and kicks. Helps with fitness and tucks away in a corner once finished. It has lots of height adjustments so is great for accuracy at different levels. Cons Head is abit small Moves across the floor and turns when hit hard Torso is very solid so can put force on your forearms if hit hard Expensive but probably is the best on the market

Perfect service

I read the reviews but I was not ready for the speed of deliver for such a large item. Glad I went with Newitts and also saved £40. The Sparring Bob is awesome. just don't try filling it with wet sand as it takes for ever!! dry sand or water. :) Enjoy

Quality Piece of Kit

I was bought this for Christmas 2014-2015. I use this punch bag whenever I can, often 4-5 times a week. The contact you feel when you punch is the closest thing you can get to sparring or competing. I filled mine up with water, It is heavy enough but is useful to shift around and empty easily if needed. Adding sand would make it incredible heavy, either way it is sturdy. The only negative I can think of is it can moves round in angles slightly when punching with frequency, they're must be a way to solve it but I am not creative enough. Mine is on top of a mat though so it may be due to that. The height changing is decent although the shorting it is the sturdier. Overall though, great piece of equipment for boxers or keep fitters to get endless endless amounts of enjoyment out of.
