A MYZONE belt is a new innovative heart rate-based system. It monitors heart rate, calories and time exercising that converts into MYZONE effort Points (MEPs), with a focus on rewarding effort rather than fitness. It makes everyone on a even level playing field.
Step 1 – Get yourself a MYZONE MZ3 belt. It will need a charge (couple of hours).
Step 2 – Download the app on your mobile (It's free).
Step 3 – Register your belt – by entering your unique belt ID which can be found on the back of your MYZONE belt.
Step 4 – Enter your gym’s unique facility. If you are not connected to a gym, then enter UK generic code – MZUK001
Step 5 - You will then need to enter your height, weight and age.
Adjust your MYZONE Belt so that it fits comfortably across the bottom of your chest with the MYZONE logo in the centre. To ensure a consistent and stable connection, your MYZONE belt should be secured firmly around your body. When you hear one beep, your heartbeat has been detected. You are now ready to start your Move.
A couple of tips.
- Wet the rubber sensors when you wear your belt to improve connection.
- You don't need to be connected to your smartphone - 16 hours of exercise data storage, for those times you don’t have your smartphone. It will sync next time you connect to your app.
Challenge with Friends
Tap into the power of competition and camaraderie by challenging your friends. Exercise is made fun with gamification features, including real-time leaderboards.
Step 1 - Find your friends on the connections tab on the app and click connect which they will have to accept your request.
Step 2 - Tap the challenge tab and create a new challenge.
Step 3 - You can choose between a end date for a challenge or the first to hit a certain amount of MEPs.
Step 4 - Add your friends into the challenge.
You will now be ready to start challenge your friends, who wants to be last?
