Customer Reviews for Speedo Biofuse Finger Paddles

  • 5 out of 5 Early days, but seem really helpful

Newitts Verified Purchase (7 Feb 2016)

I would count myself as a reasonable swimmer, but nowhere 'good', and it's just occasional exercise for me now (not competition training or anything like that). At the same time, I like to improve my technique. I have previously used the glove-type aids which add resistant and found these useful for building strength and power.

The finger paddles are different. I find that they do add resistance to the stroke (I have only used them with crawl and breaststroke) and at they bring focus into the fingers which is interesting. But more than that, they are making me focus on the non-power part of my stroke so as to minimise drag I create.

My current thinking is that I will use these alternately with the full-hand gloves/paddles.

  • 5 out of 5 Super paddles

I'm a huge fan of these paddles. They have really helped me get a better feel for my catch. Best to make them loose on your hands for better effect I.e. You have to sort your catch technique out to keep them on. I have problems with my shoulder but am not noticing any ill effects from using these unlike the bigger rigid hand paddles I have. Excellent!

I bought these as they was recommended by my swim coach from my Tri Althete/Masters Club. I have been pleased with them, they place real emphasis on the 'catch' of the free style stroke without excessive stress on the shoulders, good to use with the pull buoy and do not hurt the shoulders if your stroke is not perfect.

  • 4 out of 5 Speedo Finger Paddles

I bought these paddles for my 9yr old boy. They are a really good alternative to hand paddles. He has used them a few times so far and really gets on with them.
