    I had been using a Garmin strap and monitor until the strap started to give irregular readings. Garmin wanted £40 for a new strap with clip on sender, however I just needed the strap, so have used the existing Garmin device with the Polar srtap, works superbly. Very pleased and considerably cheaper. (Garmin did replace my strap even though it was 3 months out of warranty, so have kept the Garmin as a spare)
