Every stick in the M-Tek collection has a specific performance story. From the inclusion of new materials, to thew use of chemically-enhanced resins. They have created a series of Sticks that give the players performance reasons for their purchases.

Material innovations have lead to the Ocean, the first adult level composite with ZERO carbon. In this environmentally friendly world the Ocean represents a true innovation with Carbon being replaced by a totally new material. Basalt rock exists at the bottom of the Caspian Sea and is then imported by our exclusive manufacturing facility.

Basalt Rock

The Basalt Rock is melted at very high temperature and fibres are drawn from this molten lava, being spun to create the material from which Basalt layers are created. Basalt is as strong as carbon but is much easier to handle, it represents a more ’friendly’ material to the factory workers, it gives even better performance characteristics than Carbon. OCEAN sticks have fibreglass skeletons overlaid with Basalt and Kevlar to create great performance characteristics, extra reinforcement is applied at specific pressure points.
