The stability of the shoe has been expertly designed with the heel of the shoe sitting slightly lower then the forefoot. This allows the batter to achieve a more stable foot plant position when facing deliveries.

Adidas Twenty2YDS Lite III shoe comes with a half spike configuration, however this can be personalised with the removable rear spike receptacles that are covered with rubber lugs. These can be exposed to reveal traditional spike threads which can be fitted with spikes for extra traction. This means the shoe can be customised for batting, fielding and spin bowling with additional spikes supplied.

Adidas have added circular traxion positioning of forefoot spikes that enhance rotation through delivery stride to assist spin bowling performance.
